Melina and Detlef have been teaching social tango in a close embrace all over Europe and the USA since 2001. Their focus is on musicality, communication and improvisation.
In their classes, Detlef and Melina explore the foundations of movement in order to develop a better connection to one's own body, the partner and the music.

Both workshops take place in the Hubertussaal at Schloss Nymphenburg. Capacity is limited – register early to secure your place.
We’ll dance to two classic tangos by Juan D’Arienzo and Osvaldo Pugliese, exploring different movement dynamics that, combined with complex rhythms, bring greater expression to our dance.

When communicated properly, the cross is a challenging and beautiful element. We’ll explore unusual ways to exit it and, time permitting, some rare cross variations. Subtle, communicative, and very elegant.
