Our DJs

Max Romano

Max Romano (El Narigón) – Naples, Italy – Friday Night

Max Romano was born in Naples, Italy and there in the heart of his city, passion, inventiveness and a pinch of craziness grew within him. Engaged in Italy and abroad, as Tango DJ, he proposes traditional music from the much loved orchestras of the Argentine tango's Golden Age which span the spectrum of emotions. Listening carefully to the energy on the dance floor, he creates his own vibe, allowing each tango, every night, to become the basis of a story interpreted in a new and unique way. Because this, for him, Tango is: that magical moment when dreams of the heart take flight!

Alice Pollak

Alice Pollak – Stuttgart, Germany – Saturday Afternoon

Alice Pollak from Stuttgart discovered tango in 2008, quickly diving into DJing at international tango events. With vibrant energy and an intuitive feel for the dance floor, she seamlessly connects dancers through each tanda, capturing the essence of tango's Golden Age. Alice's selections are dynamic and heartfelt, with a special love for the genius of Pugliese, Troilo, and the rhythmic pulse of D'Arienzo, drawing dancers together in unforgettable moments.

Marta Silvestre

Marta Silvestre – Porto, Portugal – Friday Night

Marta from the beautiful city of Oporto started to dance Tango in 2008 and from 2010 began to get more intimate with tango music and slowly got into the 'musicalizator' life. Marta has been dj-ing at several international tango marathons, such as 'La Cita de los Amigos' (Belgium), 'Tango Jam' (Germany), 'Belle Epoque' (Italy), 'Milonga des 4 Saisons' (France), and also at various international Tango events in Portugal. Her 'style' as a DJ can be summarized as 'High Energy' but she is also an experienced 'milonga reader' and always manages to lead the dancers into the right mood. When she plays, travelling around the magical Tango Golden Age Era, each tanda whispers a story and D'Arienzo is definitely her favorite storyteller.

Melina Sedó

Melina Sedó – Saarbrücken, Germany – Sunday Afternoon

Melina has been dj-ing – and greatly enjoying it – since 2004. She has worked at countless encuentros, festivals and milongas all over Europe and the USA. Her top priorities are uncompromising danceability as well as a choice of music that systematically varies rhythmic and lyrical tandas and spices the mixture with a little bit of drama, whilst presenting classical music from the late 20s to the 50s in tandas and with cortinas.

Baki Vertiola

Baki Vertiola – Munich, Germany – Sunday Evening

As soon as Baki started to DJ, he experienced the joy of catching the atmosphere of a moment and share it with those present. It has been his passion from that day on, to enchant dancers with these incomparable moods that only tango is able to create. Baki is looking forward to grant deep insights into his passion with his beautiful music.
